Jefferson is not getting important posts, he's gotten his power stripped to the bare minimum. However as New Orleans's congressman that may be the one area he's actually needed. Until the Feds actually accuse of of something formally there's nothing Pelosi can do about ousting him. She'd love to I'm sure. If he's ever indicted expect him to be thrown out quickly. Also, if the evidence against Jefferson is so compelling why haven't any charges been brought up? What's the big delay? And speaking of Delay, why hasn't be been thrown in prison yet? He's the most corrupt congressman this country's ever seen and actually promoted massive corruption throughout his entire party.
