Then he shouldn't even have a seat on the Homeland Security Committee. I don't care if he's from New Orleans. A man in trouble for bribery should NOT have any say in matters concerning Homeland Security. That's a security risk any way you slice it.

The fact that William Jefferson can continue to get elected and selected for special committees without any fear of getting charged says a lot about the "culture of corruption" in Washington. And the Dems want to pretend it's a GOP thing? Please.
