elitist john forbes kerry's Silver Star with "V" device is the only one of it's kind. there is no such award. Silver Star is for heroism only. Bronze Star and Commendation medal can be for merit or heroism. If for heroism it with have a "V" device. There were 3 citations because elitist john forbes kerry was trying to beef up his citations. also wanted to remove comments which could possible have led to charges under the Articles of War to his actions in reference to the killing of a cowering VC. the last revision of the citation was done many years later and the Secretary of the Navy who autopen was utilized stated that he had no knowledge of the revision. Just release the supporting documents for the Silver Star and Bronze Star..... make elitist john forbes kerry's medical records public on his "wounds" (supporting documents) which led to him receive 3 Purple Hearts. Name one other military person who got credit for a full tour after serving less than 5 months in country. Matter of fact name one who got credit for a full tour after serving less than 10 months in country. it is hard to imagine how a leader could leave his men behind to complete their 12 month tours..... remember 2,500,000 Viet-Nam veterans completed 12 month tours....... by the way you have brought up another point..... i didn't know elitist john forbes kerry's war "wounds" required hospitalization? how could he be released from a hospital if he was never admitted?
