Maybe we should have tried harder to throw the bastards out? Obviously you and I both worked against Bush in his elections, but I sure as heck wish I'd sent a hell of a lot more money to the Gore campaign, and worked for him, and moved to Florida and tramped around getting people to vote for him... The world could be so much better than it is now, if we hadn't squandered our moral capital from 9/11 (imo, of course). While I certainly don't feel I deserve as much blame as folks who actually voted for the man, I could have done more. You can always do more, right?
