I had NO IDEA Bush would be as much of an right wingnut ass as he turned out to be after 2000. In 2000, I really didn't care who won. Rove did a good job of hiding the real W.

In 2004, I worked, gave money, travelled to another state and worked for Kerry, even though I didn't even LIKE him!

I think it's a NEVER AGAIN moment yet again. We have lots of those and yet these moments come about yet again.

We have a collective need to be ignorant when, if we faced reality, we would do so much better.
