I will do a little more asking around this summer when I'm more apt to be in town (Index) and get a chance to spend more time. I'd love to do some investigating, and find out what really happened. The family is well known, so there should be some info available. I'll let you know when I do for further instructions on how to do a search. One of these days I'm going to have the time to visit the museum at Lynden........and many others in our area. I visited the Shoreline museum last Christmas. They had a toy exhibit, but the exhibit was small and so a bit disappointing. The Nordic Heritage Museum in Ballard has always been a favorite. Then of course the bigger museums like the Museum of Flight. The Museum of History and Industry in the University District, and one of our all time favorites.....The Northwest Maritime Center in Port Townsend.
