I know a lot of men who have absolutely no interest in cooking and can't boil an egg. My brother Jay is one. We were elk hunting and I was going to broil a couple of pork chops while frying up some eggs for breakfast and he asked me what I was doing putting pork chops in the oven. I told him broiling them. He said you can do that? Unreal. I agree with you however in that it is absurd to not be able to cook. Just to give the wife a night off every now and again if for no other reason. Rolls are reversed in my house as I do about 95% of the cooking. My wife is a wonderful cook I just enjoy it so much she lets me have at it.
