So what? We have freedom of speech in this country, and that's why a guy like Bill Hate Maher can call for the VP to be killed without being challenged. It's why we have threads like this one where every ignorant Hate Democrat can congregate and spread hateful lies about Republicans. It's why we have posters like Hate Baker closing off his thread so he can engage in a hate orgy with Hate Democrats. But who really cares? It is what it is.

Re the President firing ADA's: The right of the President to fire his appointees, including ones who went through the Senate approval process, is settled law and has been for over a century. The USSC settled it. And I don't know how it is in Educationland, but out here in the real Real World, following orders IS part of job performance. Whether you like it or not. I abhor Ann Coulter's allegation that John Edwards is a "faggot," although if he was, indeed, a closeted homosexual I think it would be newsworthy, in the sense that everybody's personal life seems to be newsworthy these days. I expect she was referring to his appearance, using the word as children do. "You faggot" really means "you wimp." A lot of people call him "the Breck girl" because he has a "pretty" face and luxurious golden hair in a carefully maintained coiffure resembling a page-boy. But Coulter's comments are certainly not worthy of applause. Still, why do you want to give her publicity to sell her next book? Bonus question: have you never heard the nasty words that liberals on this very thread use against Bush and Cheney? Is your perception really that one-sided? P.S. The use of "Liberal" isn't limited to Democrats. It can also apply to Greens, and other left-wing groups. Contrarywise, not all Democrats are left-wing. Joe Liebermann and Sam Nunn come to mind.
