Of course not. And that is perhaps why India is perceived as the most religiously tolerant country. My point was that from an Islamic theological perspective, Christians are much higher on the totem pole than Hindus. So if the Mongol Caliphate managed to live in peace with Hindus, there is no reason to believe Christians and Muslims cannot live in peace together.

This is my rebuttal to all the doomsayer-clash-of-civilization crowd like Steve. How do they reconcile their view that Muslims just want to take over the world and kill every non-Muslim with the historic evidence to the contrary?
