No I am saying that fear of the response keeps people from stealing. I am saying that my 175 pound dog has scared off more than one crook, and that since my neighbourhood has more big dogs, we have fewer peeping toms, prowlers, flashers and burglars. But yes i could happily sacrifice some fools life to ensure the safety of my own possessions. I have been homeless, never again. And you attack what is mine at your peril. Winning is everything in life, but you can only know it when you have had nothing. People who have been poor are very seldom liberal.
