We know who appointed Fitzgerald, and nobody even lied about it. Notice how different that is from Joe Wilson and Valarie Plame, two of the most prolific liars in Washington, a town know for liars.

Just because Fitzgerald was appointed by the Administration does not mean that he answers to them, or that he is non partisan. He either manipulated a case for partisan political purposes or for the sake of being able to notch a conviction. Either way, he is an embarrassment to the legal community.

PS - Libby may ask for a retrial but he won't appeal. That would subject Cheney to a possible subpoena and it ain't gonna happen.

How would an appeal subject Dick Cheney to a subpoena?
