Re: NEW

bmillemn & 1 3/4:

I think other lenders are likely to follow Morgan Stanley's lead in working out a rescue solution. In this case, Morgan's role is like being an anchor tenant in a newly completed building. Also, according to NEW's just filed SEC 8K report, NEW has until March 15 to deliver its restated financial statements. The deadline is a day before the March options expiration. The high implied volatility in the pricing of the options seems to indicate that some surprise fireworks may spark next week.

Institutional interest around current level.

post from another thread. Note that I am not spamming... read SI TOU.

pcyhuang:

I did check out your posting record, & it still bothers me that not only did you broach SI's TOU on posting to multiple boards, you still haven't come clean on New Century.

I am willing to forgive anybody who admits a mistake. Yours, however, is particularly egregious because you led people/posters into this stock believing that your rosy assumptions as a so-called contrarian alert were true.

I pointed out to you that you were fundamentally wrong in your assumptions & backed it up with technical analysis.

I only did so, because you were way off base in your analysis of the sub-prime mortgage market.
and so what did you post to me? Some garbage that some hedge fund owned some 3.5 million shares and that I didn't know what I was talking about... so I must be be wrong! And to top it off ! A link to your website that I was way too bearish!

Not once did you engage me in conversation about New Century and I gave you the opportunity on numerous occasions.

Let here some humility from the great pchyhuang. A sorry or a oops I made a mistake goes a long way on these boards. Especially when your trading like you are, other peoples money.

Today, you can't even buy a quote from the NYSE.
