So your answer is that you are not for oil independence. Instead, you'd like to drill more here. Unfortunately, that plan won't work. Oil is a commodity. As long as oil is relied upon by the world, it puts cash in terrorists hands. As a self-described conservative, you should be for anything that takes cash out of terrorists hands. Oil independence and eventual elimination of oil as an energy source is a no-brainer from that perspective. True conservatives get that. You're not a true conservative. You're very liberal when it comes to funding terrorists. You are also remarkably reluctant to state your positions clearly and unequivocably, which tells me and anyone who reads your posts that your opinions lack conviction.
