I am a little surprised by all the surprise over the revelations about Newt's bad boy behavior. (Fox News is acting like its really news!). The divorce pleadings from wife number two were on Raw Story and some of the other webs sites years ago claiming adultery and naming the other woman. Newt did not contest the claims...and when Newt married the "aide" (NOT to be confused with an intern), their affair seemed like the worst kept secret in D.C. So he finally "admitted it"? Come on.

I think all Newt's braying about family values rings pretty darn hollow right now. Some of the quotes from his period in power are really over the top on said subject...such as comparing Susan Smith, the woman who drowned her children, to democratic party influences, etc. But hyprocrisy seems such an easy thing to overlook in our leaders.
