Well, looks like we have a bird.

No calls since Friday from the alerts I put out to the Humane Society, Animal Control and vets in town. No ad in the paper's lost and found today.

We had an old dog crate we don't use any more. I got some 1/2" vinyl mesh at HD yesterday and lined the crate with that (fastened with zip ties). It makes a huge cage. I've had the door open for the last 30 minutes and the bird has made no move to come out.
