Plame was an undercover CIA operator specializing for many years on WMD in Iran. Her station was Bulgaria, which is close to the Middle East. Her husband had been de facto Ambassador to Iraq as well as an African country. Of course her role and relationship to the CIA was all top secret. We shouldn't even know this, but she was outed by Cheney's group. Prosecutor Fitzgerald said very clearly she was a clandestine agent. It was the CIA which demanded the special prosecutor in tthe first place. And the RNC and GOP talkers have lied their heads off about that. WHy lie, GOP, if you have done nothing wrong? Why lie? because you know it's treason that's why. As a result, just when we most badly need reliable intel on Iranian WMD, anyone and everyone who ever worked with Plame is compromised, including the energy company in Bulgaria she worked for which was probably a CIA front. All compromised thanks to Dickhead Cheney, Karl Rove and GW Bush.

Obama Shows Class Reacting To Fox News's Smear news.yahoo.com Can you imagine if the head of say ABC had publicly ridiculed Guiliani for beingf the most-wanted mafia criminal in the country just because of his last name? Actually what Roger Ailes did is even worse. Yet Ailes retains his job of course. Murdoch hired him on purpose. He is a rightwing operative posing as a network news chief. Murdoch has a major rightwing agenda and uses his network and newspapers to spread disinformation to the people, and to smear politicians who might limit his corporate empire's power.
