Also, after a careful study, it has been proven that butter is much better than margarine, which people have poo pooed for years.

I do enjoy the fat and avoid carbs as much as possible. I have a family member that has a high glucose reading, so have read up and found some interesting recipes. I do lots of veggies too.

I wonder how much of that is due to carbs result in more fat on your body than the same number of calories of fat, and how much is due to carbs not making you feel as full and satisfied so you eat more.

It does take more energy to turn carbs in to body fat, than to turn food fat in to body fat, but then carbs can have other effects that more than make up for that.
