So is the 2007 stock market going to like 1987? Or perhaps 1973?

Or was 2000-02 the crash for this cycle? Goldilocks with very low rates remain for long time even with the credit/record foreclosures on the horizon the overall stock market does okay?

Yes, and this sure won't happen. This bubble is way too big
now, it can't "correct", it will implode at some point.
5000 Dow points down in 1 min. computer glitch -g-.

It sure looks to me, with current data, that "they" intend to let it fall between now and mid May or so... and with some up moves too to help confuse the issue. TIO hot money injection operations most frequently start around the 15th of the month... for what its worth.
And in tinfoil hat mode, that sudden drop on 2/27 seems from here to have been cover for the folk generally called the PPT.

It already would have imploded, were it not for their
manipulative efforts. So, they have been using
everything in their power to prevent that.

Indeed, and without intending to ignore the real possibility of a huge mess this year, it still seems from here that "they" have plenty of ammo and ability to "manage" expectations etc.

The manipulation
of stock futures markets really started in 2002, so it's a
relatively new thing -g-

Careful there, getting your tongue permanently caught in your cheek can be a real PITA. <g>
