I've got a copy of 'Jesse Livermore: World's Greatest Stock Trader' on my desk. :O)
I agree that there is a lot that can be learned from him, but it's not all good! If he would have used better money management no one would have ever heard of him. It is fun to think about trading at that level though. I remember reading about his frustration with getting "slow" quotes. He wouldn't have that problem now! Oh to dream of swinging that big of a stick. I'd probably pull something!
I might be mistaken, but the people of that time, not just the traders, seem more interesting to me than the people in the news today. When they said that they came from humble beginnings, it meant "humble beginnings".
