It's AG's fault - he successfully bailed out stock bubble with
housing bubble. Now the housing bubble has popped, and there
are no more bubbles to blow. Lots of mortgage rates resets
are coming this year and next. We'll have a bear market.
I'm not sure the housing bubble is really THAT bad nationwide,
although the lending practices sure have been too loose, even
criminal. The Fed does print, and there is inflation.
Materials that make a house do cost something, and so does
labor, and the cost has skyrocketed in 2006 (25% or so).
Sure, housing bubbled in many areas, such as CA and FL. But
then again, in some areas it didn't.
