However, with pretty good accuracy we might be able to say how weather is going to trend over the next 100 years, or how, on average, patients will react to a drug. They are two very different categories of problem Climate is a chaotic, non-linear and tightly coupled system. Nobody has a model for showing how it will trend overall. They have models for limited piece of what they hypothesize is going on. These models are acutely susceptible to variations in their assumptions.
