I've been very surprised that there have been no attacks since 2001 on American soil.

Personally, I don't think Iraq has much if anything to do with it.

But since you do, does that mean that you think we should pour blood and treasure into this war forever so as to provide this supposed bulwark against terrorism?

>>" there have been no attacks since 2001. "<<

And no "attacks" from WTC '93 to 2001...

Must have been Iraq as focus kept them from coming then too or just maybe efforts by Admin in power after WTC '93 through superior intelligence gathering and police efforts kept them off focus. Too bad country focus in late 90s went to sex scandal.

We know great attention and focus on the "evils" of embryonic stem cell research leading up to speech from Crawford in August 01 didn't keep them from coming here. Focus on "Osama to Attack Here" just could not compete with focus on "evils" of Stem Cell Research.

And what the hell...we had to focus on building the 21st century Maginot Line in Alaska also to protect us from all of those missile attacks when we had time away from the "evils" of embryonic stem cell research.

Yup, let's keep "focus" on Iraq...gotta keep adding to our production of new terrorists.
