Sandy Berger stopped the 1999 Al Qaida LAX attack after being warned by "chatter". Think of of many lives and billions that saved. A similar but even more dire warning was hand-delivered to Bush on 8-6-01. He and his security team did absolutely nothing. 9-11 resulted.

Berger's "theft" of documents is wildly exaggerated. The truth is he was just too damn lazy to make xeroxes. Xeroxing the copies would have been legal. and even if he did something wrong, he was punished, and it was a very minor trivial event. I'm sure we have all swiped pages or two from libraries in our lives. Every one of us.
