i'm not sure how much they do inside their own walls anymore. they sent a goodly portion of their process team to ibm to do joint process development.

whether that team actually produces a fab-worthy process as an output or if it still "needs work" by the home team before use is a good question.

i don't remember seeing anything that indicated they were doing truely separate process development.

You've been posting about this company many times per day for years.

Why would you make such a post? AMD beat Intel to copper, taught IBM how to do SOI in volume, etc. AMD presented their 45nm DRAM tests about a week after Intel did.

But you knew that already.

So why would you make the post you made?
