I may be leaning toward a trailer, rather than RV. Although, the one my brother has is luxury on wheels. But, I think it's too complex for me. I'd be traveling alone, so wouldn't need access to anything until I stopped. I'd just want good trailering qualities and not much bigger than what you have. I've already been thinking of a pickup truck (or SUV) for my next car.

My bro had a 26' fifth wheel he towed with a Dodge diesel. He was 60 some feet long on the highway. Of course, now they tow a small Dodge pickup behind the RV, so they still have all that length, maybe more. He didn't like towing that big trailer, at all. I'm not sure I'd go for the vintage idea, no matter what. I'm way past my "fixer upper" days. Lots of time to ponder.

If you really want to know about vintage trailers, talk to Smithee. He bought one a few months back and did some really extensive research. He has a catalog of sources and is a real encyclopedia of information.

Why, thank you.
