The Sunnis are only "getting the shaft" on oil revenue if your making your basis for comparison the lions share that they controlled before.

As for safety, every group (even the Kurds to an extent, at least those outside of the Kurdish dominated areas, including the disputed "border" areas with the Sunnis) is "getting the shaft" on that, but the Sunnis are a big part of why the problem developed.

Junior (balloon- -wow, does THAT fit), apparently your alias change made you no smarter. "We should remove most of our military" IS leaving Iraq. Ask Nancy Dumbell Pelosi, your idol. THAT'S exactly what she and most of your cohort are after.

"work diplomatically with the Kurds, Sunnis and Shiites on a settlement." Suppose one those groups, say the Sunnis, who used to get the lion's share of revenues, would rather fight that agree to less? AND to losing control of the gov't, since Iraq is 60% Shia and a democratic gov't would reflect that. NOW what???? Just how far do you think diplomacy will get among IEDs, death squads, and poison gas? You REALLY think you're going to get an agreement? What are you on?

"This is about oil revenue and safety. " That's what I just said. And unless the minority Suunis get a majority of revenues, nobody gets safety.

"The Sunnis are getting the shaft on both of those" How so? Here:

THAT was back in February. Have the violence and murders stopped?

The Kurds agreed. The Shias proposed it. What happened?
It's all a plot by US corporations, of course.

In case you think this a VRWC plot (everything is, right?), here's the UK Guardian and the NYT:

Oh, that "central control" bit seems to stabs the oil companies in the back. Oh, just wondering: Who said gov'ts are any less corrupt than corporations?

"On the one hand you ridicule me for calling the reports claptrap and then on the other you agree with me. Which is it?"
Your eyes are brown.

"Then you go on to make the mistake of equating the war on terrorism with the war in Iraq."
It is now. You think things happen in a vacuum and have no future effects?

"People like to say we are fighting them there so we don't have to fight them here."
Kindly quote the place where I said that.

"If it's our fight then I say bring it on! We will kick there ass."
Not you. You'll be hiding under the covers.

Tell Penn and Teller to stop talking about you.
