About half of all bankruptcies are due to medical bills. It's insane. Everyone needs to tell everyone they know that we have to go to single payer TOMORROW. It can be done with enough political will. We have to get rid of health insurance and replace it with health care for all. IMO if we do not address and fix this issue imemdiately, it will make Iraq look like peanuts in the very near future. If I remember correctly, health care should be a 20% of GDP in 2010. Health care costs frequently increase at 2-3-4+ times inflation...every year. It's insane and it's highway robbery. This is an issue that should unite everyone from the right to the left.
