You probably know this but the rumor on the Street is that investors plan to take AMD private. MOT too. No one knows if its true or not.

"Likely Source", doesn't amount to "making it clear" that her assertion is correct.

Also apparently she earlier testified that she didn't know if she was covert.

Sure. And the likely source of her opinion would be her employer. Now, is there any reason why you feel that the CIA is unaware of the covert status of its employees?
