Lots of rumors about AMD being floated about. Good discussions going on at the Mod thread about stock manipulation and how AMD's need for capital relates to it. Unfortunately, the discussion is kind of scattered among posts that have to share the space with the usual "AMD/INTC sux/roolz." Yeah, its not worth sifting through all "the AMD/INTC sux/roolz" to find the substantive one. I really question why investors would take AMD private. Making AMD private would not change the fact that its margins are cratering, it has a surplus of fab space, the AMD/INTC blood feud is getting old and there are some problems integrating its latest acquistion.
