Allen, You may recall that the Bush administration got high credits for its spin ability and its larger ability, mysterious indeed, to manage the media. During the first term. Well, it tended to last even into the first two years of the second term. It, the Bush admin, simply, in my view, has not adjusted itself to the new political reality of a congress that can actually exercise oversight. My guess is we'll get more confrontations before we get less. Given their past behavior, I suspect they will have to go through some rather dramatic political losses before they will change. But, as I type that, I wonder just how many more political losses they can sustain.
