I think some of the most horrible things happen in long-term care and nursing home facilities in south Florida....I have had the misfortune to see many of the patients in these facilities being "cared for" by aides rather than RN's and the like, all to save money for the facility. It really pisses me off, and makes me concerned if I should ever need care in such a place. I guess the entire system is really in poor shape. THe insurance companies and the drug companies seem to be the only victors....
