The ITC has unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on circumstances) turned out to be a patent court. Its staff of ALJs has a lot of patent experience; they are well qualified to make fair judgments on infringement.

mindy - Absolutely right. Maybe Q as some really great lawyers but it just doesn't feel like it. They are on the ropes yet again against BRCM that so far as I reemeber has the worst record of actaully winning cases agaoinst others. Not against Q though , they are going through Qs lawyers like aknife through butter seemingly every month. It is incredible.

And the company seems not to be worried that poor IJ and the great company he founded gets humiliated and kicked around the field by BRCM.

As it happend I do not bel;eive that there is going to be a judgement to ban the importation of anything. It is not proportionate. They willprobably be given a date by which the offending patent must be removed.

Best,

L
