No really. We produce more than enough oil to run our military. Also "the oil producing countries" include such countries as Canada and Mexico who are unlikely to cut us off.

If you mean the Gulf countries any disruption of their supply would make oil much more expensive, which would in turn make our military operations more expensive, but it wouldn't shut them down or make the military powerless/useless.

An infinite source of clean energy overhead. Some of that money spent on wars could/should be diverted to increase production of solar equipment. I know...it's a silly notion.
