And one of its key components is its determination that inflation is now more than 5% and the Fed needs to keep it at that rate at a minimum to "succeed." This is contrary to the inflation rate as determined by the usual suspects. If the authors are correct, those of us keying on real interest rates to determine whether we are experiencing a restrictive monetary policy need to take note.
