Mexico can't control the number of illegals passing through its country and coming to the US. Should we invade Mexico? I've replied to that question already. I think to you. Illegal immigration, is different than waging war on someone. Secondly, after 20+ years in Lebanon, Israel could no more control the PLO than the Lebanese. Worse......its presense in Lebanon encouraged the creation of Hezbollah. When do you think Israel will figure out its tactics are not working. Actually it did a pretty good job of limiting PLO attacks for Lebanon. Yes since then attacks from the West Bank and Gaza have increased, and also you had the rise of Hezbollah. It can be argued that the decision to invade was a mistake, or that they executed the decision poorly. But even if one or both of those ideas are correct, that doesn't mean the invasion was an act of aggression or change the fact that the real violator of Lebanese sovereignty was the PLO.
