Pescod continues to beat the drum on CLL: " If we could only buy one stock right now, we would probably come up with the name Connacher Oil & Gas, another stock that we’ve mentioned previously and one that hasn’t done that well over the last couple of months. But we suspect its day isn’t too far away. There are questions whether this SAGD project will actually work, but then when you’ve got the people who worked on the fabulously successful Deer Creek Project, why wouldn’t it work? They also have a pretty interesting following. No less than 40,000 shareholders own pieces of this stock, meaning the average shareholder only has about 5000 shares. If someone wanted in big in size, they could do it really quickly. Also, while they hope to kick up the 10,000 barrels a day sometime this year, the company plans have multiples of those numbers over the coming years. The negative of course is that heavy oil projects generally need higher oil prices to support themselves. After a little assistance from some of the local bars, we figure if we could only buy one stock today, Connacher would be it, although we have to admit, we own more than a few shares of all the others already mentioned."
