Correction: Selling more high-end parts will solve the problem.

AMD achieved "record unit share" by pushing tons of low ASP product. They got closer to their goal of 30% market share, but further from their goal of sustained profitability.

The ASPs in the high ASP segments have gone down (as are across the board). That is independent of current market share or of the goal of reaching 30%.
