Powerful insight, John....I think we all know it, but we usually don't let go.... I love the stories you tell us about you and your wife.... You both must have a good deal of courage.... There's a fine line between "giving up" and "peace"..... Even with some of the serious illnesses I've had, I don't know that I've ever been afraid for myself...but I have been afraid for my family. I am even more fearful now ,for my family and people I care about, with the threat of a group of people who either wish to nuke the world's peoples, or wish to take us back to the 7th century in ever respect. I am fearful of the people who don't see the threat, and in fact, aid and abet the 7th century advocates. I think every day of the sign I saw a few weeks ago, "Courage is a step ahead of fear".... and will mull over in my mind, this old, but new, AhHa.... "When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change"....
