Leaving those idiots in charge would ensure total chaos.

Just take a look at what's coming down the pike and arrange your deck chairs on the Titanic accordingly..

1) Dems seem hell bent to raise taxes and regulations (goodbye economic growth) and both parties increase spending like there's no tomorrow (which there just might not be).

2) Demographics ensure that the retiring boomers will be sucking enormous and increasing amounts of "entitlement" revenues in the near future with fewer numbers of Generation Chump to pay for it all (been seeing that disgusting AARP commercial with those poor ignorant kids who are the ones who'll really be getting screwed by AARP's policies).

3) The world is on the cusp of a real energy crunch, one that will disproportionately affect the West and especially the US. Windmills and ethanol mandates won't cure it and the econuts will make sure that what will work to ease the situation will never be implemented (drilling off shore, ANWR, oil shale development, more coal and nuclear powered electrical generation).

4) All the hysterical screaming about global warming, emanating from AlGore and his MSM cohorts, will lead to regulatory policies that will further starve the world's economy. Kill off carbon based energy sources and those of us who are still alive will be back living in caves.

I'll admit that I'm a pessimist about what the future holds in store. IMO, those bomb throwing, medieval savages are the least of our worries. Our economy and living standards are under much greater threat from "those idiots in charge" who the majority of people are stupid or uninterested or uninformed enough to elect...
