According to Palestinian sources, there would be another division between the area north of the Ariel and Shilo settlements along the trans-Shomron highway built by Israel.

This is the crap that Pal sources starting putting out in June 2001, after they took the diplomatic hit in early 2001 - bantustans, corridors, horrible deal. Look again at what Dennis Ross and Shlomo Ben Ami say. They completely give the lie to these claims: 95% or even 97% of the WB (at Taba), no bantustans, no corridors.

As Ben Ami also points out, Arafat never once made a counter-proposal. He just started the intifada.
