What do you expect to get with a timeline? Another item to hang Bush with? I can hear you and your types already "Bush left Iraq in disarray and in the middle of a Civil War. He could not get the job done so he just left. It is his fault the new President (insert name here) is more a tyrant than Hussein ever was and is responsible for a huge genocide against the (kurds, sunnis, shias, Christians) Now we have to go back to Iraq to stop the crimes against humanity." I can already hear you people yelling this from the roof tops in 2 or 3 years, if we pull out. Further, if the bill comes back a second time with the timeline I hope he vetoes it again. You do understand that their are people in the US who find the Dems making this into a political volleyball match, at the suffering of our troops to be unforgiveable. I would never vote for a person who supported attaching that timeline to that bill in my life. Much like the Second Amendment, this will be a one issue vote for me in 08. If one person running has supported this farce, they have lost my vote. You guys are so intent on trying to "get" Bush, you have totally forgotten the soldiers over there. To score points you are comfortable withdrawing funding. Great, super, you proved your point but guess who gets hurt? Bush? Hell no. The guy down the street who has served two rotations over there and now starts losing his meager military paycheck while the jackoffs in the halls of Congress try & score points off each other. To me, the Dems are simpy showing their true colors, albeit earlier than I expected. I fully expect a full and complete turn about from them and they will break every single campaign promise that got them in office. It will come full circle the first time Pelosi utters "impeachment." Then we will all see the true liars that they are.
