I'm at a stage in my life where many of the people I care about are going to start to pass away. I think most people on this board have already experienced it but I'm not sure I'm ready yet. I'm not sure if a person is ever ready. Even though I'm 41 I can honestly say I still need and want my parents to be part of my life. I also want them around long enough for my son to truly get to know them. My grandparents were all dead by 3rd grade for me so I never got to tap that knowledge and wisdom they had. I know I sound selfish but its not that - its fear
