I have a germ of an idea, I'm thinking about. Would it not be something for Bush and Cheney to threaten to resign and turn the war over to congress if congress persists in their madness. Interesting thought UW. Oral was suggesting that on another thread just the other day, with slight modification. I told someone this morning that Bush should recall all military to the US and give the commanders 30 days to do that even if it means abandoning their vehicles and then submit his resignation. Cheney should then pardon him for any and all dreamed up charges for all time and eternity and then he should resign giving Pelosi the Presidency. Then the R's in the house and senate should say henceforth whatever you submit that is carried by the Democratic majority we will vote for. We need an investigation of this: If someone is 3rd in line for the US Presidency, wouldn't one think that this person would pay attention to his/her own Government about the wisdom of visiting any country that was in a shadow war with the US? A country that directly funds our enemy? A country that directs its people to kill our military, and civilians of Iraq.... When did Pelosi and group start planning this trip? Who knew? When did they know? How many support troops and others are going with the group? How many countries are involved? Who set up the meetings? Who paved the way for all the side trips? How much is this trip costing, both in dollar cost, as well as the real cost....in morale of our troops? Would it not be something for Bush and Cheney to threaten to resign and turn the war over to congress if congress persists in their madness It would indeed...!
