Everyone makes a choice as to what nation they will support and usually also support its symbols. These symbols are important.

Americans chose to support their nation and its symbols.











Muslims choose to support theirs:







I don't believe the WTC was an American "symbol."

And there is absolutely nothing wrong with people identifying with the symbols of their nation.
