Well, let's see...we have the light sun, and a black lump of coal. Which one is emitting more heat? Which one is absorbing it?

PS..."A dark objects emits heat and cools faster than a light object".... of course...if the white object reflects, and the black absorbs, the black picks up a lot to give back.

Rather then "black body radiation", I would think its easier to think of the equivalent "cavity radiation". That is the darker surface absorbs and radiates more heat for a given period of heating and cooling then a "white radiator" (flat white surface).

If a cavity radiator and a white radiator are presented to equal times to a high temperature radiative source (the sun), the cavity radiator will pass more heat to it's surroundings over time of many heatings and coolings. i.e. it will be warmer.
