One of the rulings being sought in the latest arbitration filing is that if Nokia sues Qualcomm for patent infringement after 4/9, all of Nokia`s rights and benefits under the current license should be extinguished. That would ignite the paid up license into flames.

Re NOK 2nd day presentation interesting slides all about the Q. NOK has spent over 25bn Euro cumulative on R&D. They then compare that with Qs total annual revenues. Not that that is any kind of valid measure but 25bn Euro looks impressive.

Also refers to early patents being "paid up".
