That seems to be particularly nasty.. Here is another site that shows places where it can exist on your system. I would try to stop or otherwise disable incidents of this. Also, check and see if it has anything running in task manager, and, if so, stop that process also.

Maybe this will help if you do this first and then, as was suggested, restart in safe mode and re-run the removal tool.
