Europeans have a Christian "brotherhood of man" ethic and mistakenly think everyone is basically like them. Also, they are racist and arrogant and think that everyone wants to be like them and will be grateful to be allowed into the house like a pet dog and that they will behave themselves. Islamic Jihad is not interested in pet dog status. They are and want to be top dog. Which means biting the hand that feeds it. As is now happening across Europe. New Zealanders have the same Euro arrogance, having been 3rd richest country in the world with great quality of life, but which has been wasted as rich people tend to waste things. Kiwis could, not many decades ago, visit Hong Kong and Singapore and be the rich tourist. Same in Spain and many countries. Now we are the poor relation. NZ thinks it can import people from around the world and the grateful immigrants will be our pet dogs and cats and become just like us. Dogs often do seem very like their owners. Unfortunately for NZers, the immigrants won't become like them and haven't. Sure, when the numbers were low, they blended in and a new average was established, but the numbers are too high now for inconspicuous blending. There is cacophony, not blending. With social welfare and disinhibition due to lack of responsibility, crime is soaring and social standards declining. Child cruelty, and murder is common, in Maoris especially, where ideas of self-restraint are anathema. Murders are barely news these days where once they filled front pages for weeks. Similarly, Mexicans swarming the borders won't turn into good little Americans. They'll stay Mexican, which means where they wield influence will become like Mexico. Mqurice
