Something I heard this morning "We have to have a free press to stay free".... And again realized....We have a free press, but a captured one. So much of our media is so far away from what most Americans think and feel, that it's like THEY are on another planet.... We need the press to do investigative work. But we only have them doing by in large, onesided, biased work...so we can't trust them. We need the press to be honest. Need I say more here? Maybe the bloggers really will take over the media....at least then, we know who they are... Most of them don't write their pieces with these links strung together... "they said" "thousands" "a top government official" "a source" "many said" etc and ad nasaum....
