I had some from Mass. recently that were real salty. and some from Alaska that were also salty. I go to a restaurant here that has a large selection of them.

My favorite local Sushi joint makes a great fried oyster. I also like them raw but their fried ones are a treat. There is a really good tiny oyster from Washington that I also like... can't think of the name. Olympias maybe?
